Hello! I'm Maximilian (Max) De la Cruz Torres. I am a 17-year-old photographer based in Oceanside California. I founded Original Lens Photography because I believe the most meaningful moments happen naturally. Whether it's wildlife in its habitat, athletes pushing themselves, families sharing quiet moments, or everyday life unfolding, I strive to preserve memories honestly rather than manufacture them. My goal is simple: create photographs that still feel real years from now.

Whether I'm tracking wildlife or capturing a quiet smile at an event, I aim to keep my images as original and authentic as possible. Many people, especially nowadays with technology being everywhere, often forget that there is more to life than school, drama, work, social media, and a whole plethora of other things. We are so caught up in this whirlwind that we often forget to see life through our original lens: our eyes. OLP is dedicated to showing life, flaws and all.
